“My dad and I enjoy Bass fishing, however living in Ontario makes for a long Winter. We decided to take a last minute trip to Lake Okeechobee. Without much planning we landed at Roland Martin Marina and was pointed in the direction of Capt George. That was the best thing that could have happened to a couple of guys who never fished in Florida. He arrived on time to pick us up in the morning with his brand new Ranger with a 250. Extremely professional and Sincere, George worked hard for us to have a good time and did we ever!! 2 days of unbelievable fishing.. George put us on the fish and we howled all day long(other boats could here us on the other end of the lake).. One nice fish after the other and we hit the 9 pounders we dreamed about.. We could have never planned that. George was courteous and we had a lot of fun with him. It truly was our trip of a lifetime. A big thank you to Capt George for the pictures that will be on my wall for the next 70 years. Priceless! I hope to see you again next year. Chris and Ray. PS. Always talk to your bait”

“I took my son and his friend fishing on Lake Erie with Capt. George for the second time this year! Can’t George is without a doubt the BEST ERIE GUIDE!!! The conditions this time were very bad for fishing and we still landed over 50 small mouth bass – nice bass!!! This was our third trip with George and our worse one and we caught over 100 fish in two days – various species. He knows his fishing, works hard, takes care of the boys and his the best in Erie! Thanks George!!!”

“Booked a fishing trip to celebrate my father and son’s birthday. The booking process was easy and they were able to accommodate 4 people which is not easy on a bass boat and and worked with our needs. The captain was knowledgeable, friendly and tried his best to make sure we had the best experience. Although the fish weren’t biting as much as we hoped, 17 in 4.5 hours kept us happy. I would strongly recommend Captain George!”

Just an excellent day out on the lake! Caught more than we expected but spending time with the family was the real goal anyway, so the fish were just icing on the cake. Couldn’t have been happier with how Captain Mro ran things, even learned a thing or two and that’s saying something since I’m an old dog who didn’t think he could learn a new trick!

Been fishing lake okeechobee the last 2 years with George have had a very good experience. He knows the lake from top to bottoms will put you on fish guaranteed. Will definitely be going again this winter. You won’t be disappointed.

Had my first trip with Captain George in April and we had a blast on Lake Erie,I enjoyed it so much I booked a second trip in June and will definitely enjoy more trips with Captain George on Erie and also Florida!!!!!

Fished with captain George back in May 2019 awesome guy very knowledgeable and will put you on fish. Got my bucket list goal of a small mouth at 5.77. Cannot wait to go again. You will not be disappointed

Capt. George helped me land my biggest largemouth on the Big O, a 10-2! And he guided me to my personal best smallie on Lake Erie, a near 7 pounder! Great guide and great guy. You will have an awesome time, learn a lot, and maybe catch your personal best!

I had an amazing fishing trip. Capt. George put me on top of fish all day. I caught at least 10 smallies in the 17 inch 4.5lbs range and one monster about 22 inches 6.41 lbs. Clearly the best trip I’ve ever had smallmouth bass…More

Had a blast fishing with capt. George. Put me and my friends on fish all day long and had us laughing the whole time, and the topwater bite was on fire. i reccomend this trip anyone who likes catching bass and wants to have a fun day fishing. well worth it and the fishing is world class.

I’ve fish with Captain George Mro before but this time My wife and I spent the day (8hr trip) with him on lake Okeechobee and and he put us on the fish, he really help my wife with dialing in on timing and setting the hook into some Large mouths, Bowfins and Gar fish! It was a great and fun time on the water, he’s a great guy and guide, I’ll be seeing him in the spring on Lake Erie for sure!

Me and my wife fished 3 days with Capt. George. It was a awesome trip. He is so knowledgeable, very patient. Put us on some big fish. The last day was so windy he drove us 16 to 20 miles to keep us from going across the rough lake. He thinks a lot about his customers. Very thoughtful. I would recommend him to anyone.

Chris Lowery and I spent two days with Capt. George on
Lake Okeechobee. Very knowledgeable about the lake & lures to use. He put us on some nice fish, it was a pleasure to have him as our guide. Highly recommend using him, you won’t regret it. Fun two days of fishing.

We had a hell of a good time! We called Capt George last minute with no reservation. An hour later we were out on Erie. It was very cool and accommodating of him to stop what he was doing and take our very last minute request. My husband and I caught a total of 9 fish on our 4 hr trip. Capt George taught us some great techniques. He switched our rods and bait when necessary to ensure we would continue to catch something every 20 mins. We caught the biggest and most beautiful bass I’ve ever seen! He is very personable and knows the fish and their habitats. It was a truly awesome experience! I highly recommend to anyone. This was our first charter at Erie Pa. It was not commercial. The trip was very private and personable! Thank you!! We will be back again!

We went fishing July 23 2020 in Erie with captain George it was my husband 60th birthday. We had a great time , we are going to book for oct of this year to. It was great just the 3 of us can’t ask for a better day.
